Yes. Every candidate feature — resume tools, AI interview prep, job matching, applications, and messaging — is 100% free, with no paid tier. ZhiYin is funded by a single employer-side success fee charged only after a successful hire, so we never charge job seekers.
Upload your resume and our AI reviews its structure, impact statements, keyword coverage, and ATS compatibility. You get a score plus specific, actionable suggestions, so you can strengthen weak sections before you apply.
It's an optional badge you can show employers once your mock-interview average score reaches 75 or higher. It's off by default and you can hide it at any time — employers only ever see the badge itself, never your scores. It signals that you've put in real interview practice.
Our matching algorithm compares your skills, experience, and preferences against each job's requirements and shows a match score from 0 to 100%. Higher scores mean a closer fit, so you can focus your applications where you're most competitive.
You can apply to as many jobs as you like — there's no limit. Quick Apply submits an application using your saved profile and resume in one step, and you can attach a short cover note to each job to make your application stand out.
The AI runs a realistic interview simulation for your target role. It asks relevant questions, reviews your answers, and gives feedback on content, structure, and communication style — so you know exactly what to improve before the real conversation.
Employers see your professional profile — skills, experience, and resume — but never your phone number or email. All communication happens through ZhiYin messaging, and your direct contact details are shared only after a confirmed hire. You can also use privacy settings to go anonymous, hide your profile from your current employer, or block specific companies.

Yes. You can update your resume and profile at any time from your dashboard. Keeping them current improves your match quality and puts your most recent experience in front of employers.
You earn XP for actions like completing your profile, applying to jobs, and practicing interviews. XP unlocks levels, achievements, and badges, daily practice builds a streak, and you can track your progress on the leaderboard — a light structure that keeps your search on track.
For Employers
ZhiYin is pay-after-hire. There are no subscriptions, credits, or per-contact charges — posting jobs, searching candidates, unlocking contacts, and interviewing are all free. The only fee is one month of the hire's salary, invoiced after the candidate confirms the placement, and every placement includes a 90-day replacement guarantee.
Candidate profiles come with AI analysis built in: resume quality scores, skill data, and a match score against your job's requirements. Many candidates also prepare with ZhiYin's mock interviews and prep tools before applying — so your screening time goes to people who fit the role and come prepared.
Yes. Talent Search lets you proactively browse candidate profiles with filters for skills, experience, location, and more. Unlocking a profile is free — it opens the candidate's full profile and platform messaging so you can reach out directly.
Every placement includes a 90-day replacement guarantee. If your new hire leaves within 90 days, we help you find a replacement at no additional success fee.
Click 'Post a Job' from your employer dashboard, then add the role details, requirements, and salary. You can save as a draft or publish immediately — published jobs appear in candidate search results and matching recommendations right away.
Yes. Once a candidate applies — or once you've unlocked their profile — you can send interview invitations and coordinate scheduling through the platform, with calendar sync so confirmed interviews land on everyone's calendar.
Our AI compares your job's requirements against candidate profiles — skills, experience level, location preferences, and salary expectations — and ranks candidates by match score. Higher scores indicate a closer fit, so your team can prioritize its review time.
Yes. Add teammates with role-based permissions such as admin, hiring manager, or recruiter. Your team can review candidates together, share notes, and manage the hiring pipeline in one place.
The success fee is invoiced after a confirmed hire and can be paid by major credit and debit cards through Stripe. Employers in mainland China receive CNY invoices payable with WeChat Pay or Alipay. All transactions are processed over encrypted connections.
Immediately. Create your employer account and you can post jobs and search candidates right away — there's nothing to buy up front. You only pay the success fee if and when a candidate you hire confirms the placement.
General Questions
Two things: the business model and the tooling. Employers pay nothing until a hire is confirmed — no subscriptions, credits, or contact fees — and both sides get AI support: matching and screening for employers, plus free resume analysis and interview prep for candidates.
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit, sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest, access is controlled by role, and access to personal information is audit-logged. We provide GDPR- and PIPL-aligned export and deletion tools, and we never sell your data. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
ZhiYin currently focuses on two markets: the United States and mainland China. Each gets a fully localized experience — English for the US and Simplified Chinese for China — including local salary formats and hiring conventions.

Yes. Request deletion from your account settings. Your account is scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period, and you can cancel the request at any point during that window if you change your mind. Erasure covers your profile and personal data in line with GDPR and PIPL.
